We may be quaint, but we pack a punch!

Recently, the Albuquerque Business First released The List: Residential Real Estate Firms Ranked by NM Gross Sales (2015). At the time these statistics were compiled, we had just 8 producing brokers. Yet our quaint, locally owned and locally grown Vista Encantada posted some pretty impressive numbers!

According to this list, of the companies that participated in the survey, Vista Encantada Realtors ranks #14 in production in the State of New Mexico. Keep in mind that many of the companies in this top 25 list have significantly more brokers working for them (for example, #13 had 20, #14 had 38…some of the top companies have hundreds). So, while we may be small in our number of brokers, there is nothing small about our productivity!

Here at Vista Encantada, YOU are our focus. The vision and soul of this company is not to increase the size of our office, but instead to increase our reach to the people we can help by giving a unique, personal experience in the home buying or selling process. No matter what your real estate needs are, we stand ready to help you every step of the way!

What’s your reason for wanting to own a home?

Owning a home, The American Dream…right? To millions of Americans, having a place to call our own is so desirable, and often a crowning moment in our lives.  But is it for practical reasons, like not wanting to “throw away” money by paying rent?  Is it wanting to have a place to build a more stable financial future?  Or maybe it’s more about feeling safe, settled in, and comfortable with our life and where we dwell?

One of our wonderful associate brokers, Cathy, shared a great post with me this week.  I found it quite interesting to learn that in a survey conducted by The Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, the top 4 reasons respondents gave for wanting to own a home were more about feelings than finances.

Check out this post by Keeping Current Matters titled Home is Where the Heart Is to see the top 4 reasons to own a home cited by respondents to the survey.

Whatever YOUR top reasons are for wanting to own a home, rest assured that here at Vista Encantada Realtors, we stand ready to walk with you every step of the way in your quest for finding the home of your dreams!
