Bernice Gentry | Associate Broker

New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment! The glorious skies and majestic mountains speak for themselves. I am a native New Mexican. Born and raised in Santa Fe, I had the privilege of growing up on the historic Old Santa Fe Trail for all my childhood years. I have lived in Albuquerque since 1990, and I still visit my stomping grounds on a weekly basis to see my family.

My background is teaching. For more than 20 years I taught math at several schools including CNM, UNM, Sandia HS, Eldorado HS, and Gordon Bernell Charter School (GBCS). My most recent teaching job was at GBCS where I taught inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

I feel that my years of teaching has made me an excellent Realtor because teaching taught me to work with a diverse population of people, and I was able to help students gain confidence and learn math skills.  In the same way, I educate my real estate clients as I guide them through the home selling or buying process which is exciting and overwhelming at the same time.  I enjoy working with people and seek to make them feel comfortable through their real estate journey.  It is always my pleasure to answer any questions and to make the experience as smooth as possible for my clients.
